Jovian Archive, myBodyGraph, and the Tools I Actually Use in Human Design

A plain-language guide to the Jovian Archive family of sites: Jovian Archive, myBodyGraph, Maia Mechanics, RA.TV, and Human Design Mastery, and what each one is actually for.

Students ask me some version of this question constantly: which of these sites am I actually supposed to be using? Jovian Archive, myBodyGraph, RA.TV, Maia Mechanics, Human Design Mastery, the names all sound related, and they are, but they do different jobs. Here is what each one actually is, and where I personally fit into a few of them.

Jovian Archive: the source itself

Jovian Archive is the international rights holder of the Human Design System as transmitted by Ra Uru Hu. It’s the first official Human Design site, and it’s still the home for Ra’s original recorded teachings, along with the current publishing, licensing, and education work built on top of them.

I serve as Education Director there. That role is about helping shape how the original material gets taught, not just holding a certificate that says I studied it. If you want the primary source material rather than someone’s paraphrase of it, this is where it lives. A code, LAVEENA1066, gets you 10% off the Ra Uru Hu collection if you’re building a library of the source texts.

myBodyGraph: your chart, calculated and explained

myBodyGraph is interactive, automated Human Design chart analysis software. You enter your birth data and it generates your BodyGraph along with written analysis of what’s in it, Type, Strategy, Authority, Profile, defined and open Centers, and more.

I contributed to myBodyGraph’s development. It’s a genuinely useful tool for getting a fast, accurate read on your own mechanics, and for anyone doing this professionally it’s a reliable way to generate a chart to work from.

Maia Mechanics: the engine under the hood

Maia Mechanics builds the calculation software that Human Design students and professionals rely on to get accurate charts in the first place. Their engine is also what powers the free chart calculator on this site, so if you’ve generated your Type, Strategy, and Authority here, Maia Mechanics is doing the astronomical and mechanical calculations underneath it.

I advise their development team as part of the wider group shaping the software, and I’ve helped write and edit some of the analysis text you’ll read in a Maia Mechanics chart, including the Love Gates, Personal Success, and Bridge Gates material. I weigh in whenever I’m invited to, rather than on a fixed schedule.

RA.TV: Ra’s recorded teaching, on demand

RA.TV hosts Ra Uru Hu’s video lectures alongside a growing library of classes and live sessions from current teachers in the lineage. If you learn better by watching and listening than by reading, this is where that content lives.

I actively promote RA.TV, I was involved in training and finding several members of the on-air team, and I’ve been interviewed on the platform myself. If you want to see how the teaching translates to video rather than text, it’s a real resource.

Human Design Mastery: where I teach directly

Human Design Mastery is where I put the specialized, practical programs I’ve built beyond what’s taught here. I’m a co-founder there, and it’s the place for the more advanced applied work, business, career, and professional practice, once you’ve got the foundational mechanics down.

So which one do you actually need first?

Start with your own chart. Get a free bodygraph here, or run one through myBodyGraph if you want their specific analysis format. Once you know your Type, Strategy, and Authority, everything else on this list becomes a lot easier to place: Jovian Archive for the source material, RA.TV if you want to watch and listen, and Human Design Mastery or my own certification paths once you’re ready to go deeper than foundations.
